Cargo bikes are for all ages and abilities (even if you're really old with a messed up wrist)

We have been loving these bulb-outs! They're beautiful, really high-quality, and make the streets safer for everyone.
Looks like we're going to need some concrete here too @nashvilledot.bsky.social #notinmybikelane
We greatly appreciated the new Adventure Center Science Center* bikeway today *as officially named by the 4-year-old
This is apparently a thing that is happening for Open Streets this weekend. It's a "pilot" but will remain up indefinitely. We should do more good things like this. We should also tell people about them so they know about the good things. publicinput.com/downtowncomp...
It was also very important to block our new raised crosswalk today
The path between the new Ascend greenway and 1st is now closed off by barricades. You can still get through around the amphitheater, at least until they close these gates.
I tried to follow the detour sign this morning and it basically dumps you onto Demonbreun (the part with no bike lanes) with no further information on where to go. These signs were on the sidewalk at 3rd, which also has no bike lanes after they were blocked by downtown businesses and the NDP.
Today it looked like a lot of the golf carts had been moved onto the grass, but there was still a bunch of equipment in the way, plus a new "bike lane closed" sign with a detour pointing toward the closed street (?), blocking access to the rest of the path and the new Ascend greenway.
This was yesterday - just a ton of golf carts everywhere. There's no reason our very limited safe infrastructure should be used to store equipment.
