I've been helping to mentor these 8 teenage playwrights for a few months now. Today, thanks to Fighting Words, The Linenhall Arts Centre and Others, professional actors and directors will finish their long weekend of prep with a rehearsed reading. Come and see, if you're in the vicinity.

My new play premieres here in Castlebar at the Linenhall Arts Centre on 16th and 17th of this month. I can promise you a top night and if I fail to keep my promise I'll be on the first Monorail out of town. 😉

Delighted that super-talented actor Liam Gaffney won Best Actor at the Naas Film Festival yesterday for his powerhouse performance as Joey. Also delighted to grab the award for best script in the same festival for myself. Gosh.
Almost nine years later, the framed T Shirt is fading a little. Sam, a talented musician himself, is in New York, working for a record label. To the best of my knowledge, this remains the only item in the world ever signed by all three band members.
Ever since I was painting my kitchen, one Friday evening (years ago), and listening to a @gibbzer.bsky.social radio play on Radio 4, I've been a big fan of her writing. So I'm very excited for this on Sunday on BBC1.
