Under Glendale, Wisconsin Mayor Bryan Kennedy’s leadership, @nationaldmo.org has been an asset in recruiting, training, and electing local Democrats to office. With his partnership, I know we can win big in November.
Met with Black community leaders in Milwaukee, WI, today for a community roundtable session focused on how the DNC can better invest in the state party and support Democrats up and down the ticket.
It was great to meet with Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson this morning! Like Democratic mayors across the country, he’s on the frontlines working to keep his community safe, make housing more accessible, and grow Milwaukee’s economy.
The DNC is launching a massive voter registration Weekend of Action at World Cup watch parties across the country. Volunteers and organizers will spend the weekend meeting and registering thousands of new Democratic voters outside FIFA Fan Zones, at watch parties, and more.
The right to vote is a sacred and essential part of our democracy. Ahead of the midterms, we’re hosting a Know Your Rights Training to discuss voting rights and what @democrats.org are doing to safeguard elections. RSVP now: win.dnc.org/muslimkyr
Because of the efforts of High School Democrats of America, countless young Democrats have gotten involved and stayed engaged with the democratic process. It was an honor to chat with Milan and other young leaders at their annual summit.
Thank you to Chair Verlon Jose and members of the Tohono O’odham Nation for welcoming me to Southwestern Arizona. It was wonderful to see all the great work and to have the opportunity to show you that the Democratic Party stands with you.
I spent this past weekend in Tucson, Arizona, registering new voters. I got to speak with Cruz, one of our When We Count fellows, and talk about why he’s in this fight with us.
In one week, Americans will gather to watch the World Cup final. We’re registering voters at watch parties across the country ahead of November’s midterm, and we need your help! Sign up to be a voter registration ambassador in your community at win.dnc.org/vrambassador
With 114 days until Election Day, I’ve got one question for you: Are you registered to vote? I joined our When We Count fellows to register voters in Tucson ahead of our weekend of action. Sign up to be a voter registration ambassador: win.dnc.org/vrambassador
Next Tuesday at 8pm ET, join Beto O'Rourke and the DNC for a training on how to register voters online and through relational organizing! Register at democrats.org/when-we-count.
Happy to visit Pennsylvania, meeting with State House and Senate Leadership, who are fighting to invest in transit, infrastructure, and historically underfunded schools.
There is no greater path to reach the middle class than through labor. I visited Philadelphia to chat with Mayor Cherelle Parker, State Rep. @malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social, and local labor leaders about building power for working people.
Democrats will not stop fighting until every American has access to affordable healthcare.
Today, the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s anti-immigrant crusade and reaffirmed this simple truth: If you are born in the United States, you are a citizen.
In just one week, the DNC trained over 300+ organizers at our When We Count program and NextWave bootcamps. These Democrats will take the lessons from the DNC’s campaign Playbook and mobilize across the country to flip the House in November.
The DNC is proud to have stood with Mississippi voters to defeat Republicans’ latest attack on Americans’ voting rights. Today, democracy prevailed.
Everything costs too damn much under Donald Trump and the Republicans. That’s why we are out across the country helping families put food on the table, get school supplies, and register to vote. We are organizing everywhere, so that come November, we win up and down the ballot.
As I told Democrats in Southwest Pennsylvania, real patriotism means fighting for your country and its ideals. Not storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
We're launching our Stuff Costs Too Much Weekend of Action with 200+ nationwide events aimed at registering and mobilizing Democratic voters in their own communities. If you agree that everything costs too damn much because of Trump, organize with us ➡️ democrats.org/act
Republicans have been a complete failure, and they know their time in power is coming to an end. In November, America will head to the ballot box and send them a clear message when we vote them out up and down the ballot.
So great to be with my friends Rep. Pramila Jayapal and DNC Vice Chair @shasti.bsky.social at the Washington State Democratic Party State Convention! 136 days left until Election Day. Let’s do this—together.
Ten years ago today, a gunman took the lives of 49 people at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL. We honor the lives lost by continuing our fight for an America where all are safe to be themselves.
The DNC recently hosted a NextWave Regional Bootcamp in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hear from some of our recent graduates about their experience, and register for our next bootcamp: democrats.org/Next-Wave
As I told Wyoming Democrats: We aren’t going to let a man who cannot get through a sentence without making it about himself decide the future of our country.
My first boss in politics, Paul Wellstone, often said, “You can remake the world daily.” As I told my friends in Wyoming, the opportunity and responsibility to make our country a better place is why we must put in the hard work to elect Democrats across the country.
Democrats have the momentum heading into November’s midterms. But as I told the National Federation of Democratic Women, momentum doesn’t knock on doors. It doesn’t register voters. It doesn’t get out the vote. We must put in the work to ensure a blue wave this fall.
Are you a campaign staffer or looking to join a campaign? Apply for the DNC’s NextWave Regional Bootcamp, a FREE training program designed for campaign staff of all experience levels. Our next bootcamp is in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 24-26. Apply today: democrats.org/next-wave
