The pipeline runs from Morón to the island where I live, and they haven’t been able to repair it because there’s still water in it. This building where I live, along with all the other buildings on the island, is designed without an elevated water tank; they don’t have a cistern or anything either.
From the family I support in #Cuba 🇨🇺 “Here where I live, it’s getting harder every day to get by—we’ve been without power for almost 30 hours, and they only turn it on for an hour and a half, and now there’s been NO WATER for SIX days.
I try to support a family in Cuba and she shares a lot with me. Today she sent me a picture from her balcony showing me one of the growing garbage piles due to no pick up because of lack of fuel. She fears disease because of the increased rodent population #Cuba #humanitariancrisis
