I made a HAT!! It’s my first hat, and second finished project ever. It’s a test hat I made for charity for the winter, but I think it came out cute despite some errors. Very proud of myself!! #knitting

My cute new folding cane from @bibiblossoms.bsky.social came today!! A nice bright spot in an otherwise stressful day. Now I just need to get one of her cushioned grips to go with it (wasn’t sure if I’d need it until I saw the cane in person).

Officially made it halfway through the first stripe of niece’s baby blanket today! Woo!! And it only took me a week, tho this week feels like it’s been several months long somehow. At this rate will take about 3 more months to finish the whole blanket seems like. #knitting

Binghe has decided my knitting bag (the grey tote) is his new favorite bed. He’s been laying on it nonstop since last night, except a brief break to lay on me for cuddles this morning. Silly kitty. 🥰 #Caturday Also a new pic of Yuan in his usual draped sleep posture.

Ok, 4th time was the charm. FINALLY successfully cast on for the baby blanket! It kinda worked out cause this round of stitches was MUCH less lumpy with all that practice.

So. Got the yarn, got all my knitting supplies today, started casting on for the bay blanket I’m making for my future neice. It’s 130 stitches wide and. That is so many stitches! 😳 Anyway, here’s the first picture with the first 25 stitches!

Waking up hours before my alarm is annoying when I can’t go back to sleep, but the one thing worth it is the Binghe cuddles. He only likes to cuddle if I’m awake, and morning is his prime cuddling time. I love his criminal ass so much! #Cats

Having my first ever mammogram this morning (soooo early ugh) and they had me change into a gown top and go into a secondary waiting room. This one has gnomes and little plants and soothing music though. Really trying to enhance the experience I guess…

Decided what this morning needed was a large cup of tea in my dumpster fire mug. (It’s still steeping is why it’s so pale looking. The silicone tea strainers take a lot longer to steep than my wire one does, but wire mesh one is messed up & I need a new one now)

Attending my first burlesque show ever tonight from Ashes Rising Burlesque at the Civic Media Center. It’s medieval themed!! So I dressed up! All my friends bailed, but I have friends working the show so it’s ok!

Saw this last year for the first time & became instantly obsessed. No skips from me.
