This is my first time showing this, but here's a look at what the original idea I had for the Kenny Omega design I did looked like before we went in a different direction and made it better match his entrance graphics at the time
Man, sometimes I finish a design and I amaze myself at how much better I've gotten at everything as a designer over these past few years. And lately it's been happening *very* often.
Saw this flyer for the Sweet Chin Disco All In after-party and it looked kinda sketchy... Only to immediately notice that Lio Rush has 6 fingers on it lol
31. Telltale's The Walking Dead. 🔁 9/10. Through playing it myself and making any person that gets close to me play it, I must have experienced this game... 10 times by now? And I still love it as much as ever and I still haven't managed to get through that last scene without breaking.
30. AKIRA. 8'5/10. If I had a dollar for every time a piece of media with a biker with the biggest forehead I've ever seen left me thinking about the nature of evil, the duality of the human being and the way the first step a society breaks is by failing its youngest and most vulnerable, I'd have >>
29. Coffee Talk: Tokyo. 8/10. In the first half or so of the game, I had my reservations about the writing and the way things were being constructed. After the high that was Ep.2, and the fact that this game removed The Evening Whispers, a sort of daily news/short stories app you could access on >>
28. The Mermaid Mask. 9/10. I waited for this game for so long, that I remember when it went by a different name. And the end result is SO good, that it was worth every single second of waiting. I love every SFB game, but this might genuinely be their best. Hope Grimoire and Sally come back someday!
27. Bills must be paid. 6/10. The post-nut clarity every time I finish one of these fuckass dopamine intoxicating games is always absolutely abysmal. I'll probably do it again tho.
26. Critters for Sale. 7'5/10. A game about waking up at 3AM to a text from Michael Jackson telling you to meet him at a club, exploring the Jordan desert in 923 alongside Stefan Burnett from Death Grips and a Martian that stops the destruction of earth because he liked indian food too much.
Made that sort of Wordmark myself, I think it turned out pretty cool haha
I recently had the pleasure of designing this very cool very starry design for the recently returned to the indies Nikki Storm!
Pretty proud at my first month of focusing in trying to make the jump to design merch in music. Some of my best work in here for sure!
Full Alesana pitch finally done and sent, hoping for the best!! Here's a bit of a look at every design I made
I'm afraid I might be on the run of my life
Just finished a 12-hour work session on top of probably... 20 something hours I already had on this to get it finished. It's been A LOT of work, but man, I'm afraid the results were worth it. I'm so proud about this one!!
I had the immense pleasure of taking care of designing the book cover for @heykatydid.bsky.social 's new book This Blood Runs Deep!! I read it to prepare for the design process, and it's SO good and well written. If you like mystery/thriller and coming of age stories, please consider picking it up!
I don't know how many hours I'll have sunk in into this design by the time it's done (there's still a bunch of elements I have to draw for it even) but man, the result is gonna be so worth it
... Wait I also found this and this one is still even more true today 😂😂
Found this in an old folder. It's still true lol.
25. Silent Hill (2006) 🔁 7'5/10. It's definitely a very peculiar adaptation. It hits all the original story beats so in a way it feels like you get a similar thing, but it does it in ways so different and takes so many liberties that the result is so odd, but for a 2006 adaptation, it's pretty okay.
Someone called the Smiling Friends on Laura Palmer
Gf and I looked pretty last night celebrating St. John's Eve (Spanish Midsummer celebration)
In this house we believe in the traditional family (Husband, wife and David Lynch)
Man, not only this book is the clash of two very specific things I love, this edition of the book is *SO* pretty
Yeah I booked Cecil Nyx vs. Evil Uno in the main event of a show that had people like Terry Funk and Manami Toyota and CM Punk and Rey Mysterio just because I could (And also because I ran out of money and I thought it was *so* funny that I could do that by random chance)
That Psycho Mike vs. The Sandman match completely compromised my chances but I regret nothing lol
First time playing 5 star booker. Kinda feel like I cheated a bit because it's like, well duh, if you stack a card with stars you get good ratings lol
