I went to my Great-Aunt's funeral service today. She was 100 years old. Wasn't she a stunner? My God!

My church is making and collecting preemie caps to deliver to a local NICU. I am practically in tears thinking about these tiny, sweet, little babies. Thinking "happy, healthy" baby into every stitch. 🧶

I take it back. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I had lots of trouble with the quality that I had to gloss over. But the kicker is that I had over 12 YARDS OF UNUSABLE product. I contacted yarnspirations customer service and got NOTHING back. I have 19 out of 20 squares and just SOL, I guess 🧶 #crochet

After cutting out the 12 YARDS OF UNUSABLE PRODUCT, I was not able to complete this square. I tried several times to redo this round and pull my tension tight to, at least, finish the square. Then I would worry about sewing it together later. But this is the closest I could get.

Thought to give Bernat blanket all-in-one granny squares a shot. I really wouldn't recommend. I mean, I guess. Kinda. The concept is great. But the transitions are UGLY and you can't hide them or tuck them in no matter what they say. It ends up being a lot of work for "meh." #crochet 🧶

In the upper-left hand corner you can see the ugly transition between colors as I hadn't cut it out yet. I ended up having to cut *every* transition out and use a "magic knot* to continue.

Two examples of the color transitions that the bernat blanket all-in-one granny squares skein. The two colors are twisted around each other in such a way as you cannot pull them apart. However, this transition is *IMPOSSIBLE* to hide in your work. Don't let them lie to you about that

You're right! It's so hard to choose. But this one my son just had to have when he was 10 and still has out even though he's 14 now (although it has lost its spot on his bed).
