I will ignore that rogue 27 and hope that the rest of the temperatures are as predicted so this hellscape can finally be over for a while.
Yesterday‘s iOS update fixed the battery problem that I’ve had for the past couple of months. My iPhone 16 Pro Max would not make it a full day on a single charge. 
How, I have no idea how to navigate that, and many of the options don't show graphics.
Every week for the past two months, Apple's weather app has teased comfortable temperatures down at the bottom of the 10-day forecast. And every week, it has been much hotter than those long-term forecasts suggest.
WTF, I didn’t ask my iPad to do this. (This is with the iPadOS 27 beta.)
My NetAtmo weather station isn't precise, but the Apple Weather app is way wrong. It's chilly here, not 26º. (Which is welcome brief respite after the latest heat wave.)
Sonos is getting desperate. Some years ago, they introduced a 15% off "upgrade" discount for existing users. Now they're doubling it for a short time. I have a lot of Sonos gear, but after what has happened to the company, I won't be buying any more.
What's the con here? Just a grift to get more campaign donations from his crypto rent boy?
Sounds like he's giving up. This would be one of the best things to happen in the UK in a long time.
After four days outside in the heat, Rosalind the Cat has decided that it's more comfortable in my air conditioned office.
I don't know what they're smoking at the Met Office. Their forecasts are always 3-4 degrees above others, and above what the actual high turns out to be.
Also, if I look at their weather map showing user readings, in my area there's a 6º difference right now between the lowest and highest readings, whereas in this small an area they should all be close. weathermap.netatmo.com
The calm before the heat. It looks to hit 33-34° where I am today. So an hour outside in the breeze is a nice way to start the day.
I've got a NetAtmo weather station, and I have notifications for a number of different thresholds. (Hot, very hot, cold, very cold.) It would be great if Shortcuts could do this with the stock Weather app. It looks like you could get notifications, but I don't see how to automate it.
