July 10, 1943 marked the beginning of the Italian Campaign with Canadians going ashore in Sicily. My Granddad was among those men. I think of him & all he & his friends sacrificed as young men. Many 🇨🇦 don’t know about the Italian campaign & that’s disappointing. They are hero’s, they were Antifa 🇨🇦🍁
