I love my little Corvo and Emily, just as constant reminders of one of my favorite series of all time.
Give me Tiny Delivery and give it to me now! (Not really, they're putting in so much love and care I want them to have a wonderful time making it, but also I want it.)
Easy answer is Destiny because of the amount of time it's been in my life (and that it was @gregwrogers.bsky.social's and my main place to hang out in the period leading up to Causeway), with ~4,600 hours Second-most: EverQuest Online Adventures (PS2). I loved that game (but I never got into EQ PC)
I've been really getting into @marathonthegame.bungie.net lately and... I think Durandal is pitching me on SEO services? Any comment @benstarr.bsky.social?
When I was young, my dad had me playing old Flight Simulator games, so I got very used to the classic 90s joystick! Haven't used one since, so all the newfangled fancy stuff is way too complicated for me. #unc
As anyone who knows me can attest: my memory, especially long term, is a sieve. That said, I'm fairly certain my earliest gaming memory is either Microsoft Pinball: Space Cadet or Mickey's Dangerous Chase, which is almost exactly as old as I am. I remember raging at Mickey's Dangerous Chase...
I've developed a deep love of stealth games (though I almost went with tactics games) that originated with Dishonored and my most recent entry was Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream. It's all a big puzzle that's very satisfying to solve, even more so if there are multiple solutions! #indiegames
The Haunting of Joni Evers is still 40% off (under $10!) until Monday!! Need an emotional story about family and perspective? It's a wonderful weekend to play what the latest review said "was amazing, and the graphics and storyline were great." store.steampowered.com/app/2828590/... #IndieGames
I've been excitedly awaiting @funselektor.bsky.social's over the hill ever since that first announcement trailer! Something about that cozy, cooperative vibe just feels right for me with everything going on. I can't wait to explore, adventure, and get out of sticky situations with my friends!
Not an easy choice, but my personal Game of the Year was Wanderstop (from @ivyroadgames.bsky.social). Almost immediately I felt so personally called out by Alta: her journey, her self-reliance, and her stubborn work ethic (😅), and the way Boro was written to bring levity with guidance was 🧑🏻🍳🤌🏻
One of my favorite things about having released a game is having these little cards with free codes that I can leave behind in random coffee shops or give to people I talk to that enjoy story games.
Four games that defined my 2025 (I will absolutely say that my studio's debut game helped define my year.)
In November, we... - held a leadership retreat to build camaraderie, trust, and teamwork while refining our strategy for how Causeway moves forward, - met with a ton of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship support folks in Northwest Arkansas to learn and get advice... 1/4
Added fence repair to the skill set this weekend (with only one casualty 😅)
And now our stickers arrived?! It’s a fun Friyay for sure!
Does doubling up with the vaccine 5G give 6G? (Late update with said coffee and doing some website work.)
I have Worlds Across the Causeway stickers on the way! I'm so excited to have more stuff I can leave behind in places for people to take!
Putting the finishing touches on a new platform for our stories at Causeway, with lots of ways to wander between them and explore all of the connections! (Planning to launch within a few days!)
