and here it is with fodlan as the top layer, where we can see the inconsistencies much more clearly. there's those vanished islands I was talking about, and where the north of solidus should be is ocean on the fodlan map. I'm gonna guess the fodlan cartographers aren't the best.

not perfect (higher res dagda map please intsys?) but here's a rough scale sense of the broader geography of the two maps. the dagda empire seems to be a bit smaller than fodlan, a bit larger than adrestia.

okay so. we can see in the 3H map that there's this unlabeled landmass south of the hresvelg peninsula where, per the FW map, nothing is at all. it might be the northern shore of arago (specifically "thaleia"), but in the W3H map we can see even more clearly that it's a pair of islands.

seems like this gauge is related to "blaze arts" per this pic from serenes forest? (also "song of beasts" seems very similar to hapi's ability from hopes 🤔)

actually now that I'm looking at the fodlan map I've always assumed enbarr is where the crest of seiros is on the river delta but actually it seems to be further south, probably more on the southern river delta. embarrassing thing to get wrong for seven years straight.

decent-res map finally... enbarr spotted! (though not totally consistent with its apparent location per fodlan maps? maybe the whole territory is "enbarr" if it's a prequel?) I always assumed dagda was west of brigid but it's south. morfis confirmed to be a peninsula and not an island.
