Purveyor of mens neckwear * Quality ties six quid each * Two for a tenner I might randomly post song lyrics with no warning when I'm in the mood.
Alas, there it is. It was a lovely three weeks. The streak ends at 15 for the tie. For the Front Office's sake, they better not go in the tank again. Frontrunners. Absolute Chimneys.
My newly acquired free agent Trevor Rogers? I was at least glad to see he left the game tied 1-1 so can't take the loss. This was a very good start.
Thank you, Thierry Henry, for mentioning what Iceland did in the 2018 World Cup. That's who I've been thinking of this whole game. They didn't make it past the Group Stage but Argentina was in their group and they played to a 1-1 draw. Messi had a PK saved by Hannes Halldórsson. from Wikipedia:
Okay, here it is in all its simplicity. A quarter head of cabbage, shredded Jamaican Yellow Curry seasoning 5 oz. Salmon Sriracha sauce White sesame seeds Sauteed the cabbage in olive oil, add s+p, for about 6 mins over medium heat. Salmon heated in microwave on low while cabbage cooks. Plate.
A 4:30 start isn't too bad but I would still leave super early. It also depends what route you take. Looks like 84 to 495 is shortest, but you'll be coming into Gillette from the North/West. I'm less familiar with parking options on that side (I live south of the stadium). (4/n)
I'm a Home Grown Bruins fan but I've adopted the MN teams over the past ten years or so. Huge fan of the Vikes as a kid. Cool Unis. Anyway, this is one of my MN team hats. Not the first. The Wild have one of, if not, the best designs of any NHL team.
This is a snapshot of his current and past six seasons. The projections might be suspect but it's clear he was no longer a guy worth protecting/keeping on roster (my league allows 3 Batters / 3 Pitchers, with some contract expiration rules). Risk was too great. Of course he's lighting it up.
The MLB Network's 'MLB Big Inning' program is phenomenal. I don't watch NFL Red Zone but I assume it's similar. This is only an hour but it's really well done in my opinion. Although, one of the hosts a few nights ago may have been drunk. Still good TV.
Mix the cabbage and paste well. Your clean hands are the best tools for this job. After mixing well move the delicious Kimchi to an appropriate sized container. Eat about 10-12 forkfuls to confirm its deliciousness. Cover and refrigerate to enjoy throughout the week.
Rinse the cabbage well a few times, letting it soak in fresh water a few times. Just enough to get rid of some of the salty flavor. Shake well in a colander to remove the water. Add the Kimchi paste to the cabbage and mix well.
Here's what the paste looks like after mixing.
Step 1: Prepare the Napa Cabbage. Rinse well and cut into 1-2" chunks Soak in a large container with three cups of water and 1/4 cup of kosher salt Let it sit while making the paste
Some pics of the BBC (baby bok choy) process. See ALT text for further details.
Back on my Bok Choy bullshit again. Went with the Salmon, Sweet Potato, Baby Bok Choy for dinner tonight. Tremendous. Sauteed the b-choy this time which I'm still figuring out. Technique needs work. But here's the final results.
MLB Opening Night, baby!! It's on where? Okay, I do have a Netflix account. Let me pop the game on. The game so far (it's been 5 minutes):
The state of this one after I stopped rubbing her belly. My silly Freyja.
Made a delicious, proper dinner tonight in honor of St. Patrick's Day: some lovely spiced up potatoes, bright green broccoli, and a beautiful piece of the Salmon of Knowledge. Washing it all down with a tasty Guinness Draught. Sláinte to all.
Every time I see this porn inspired ad for a local sewer and drain company it makes me smile.
I tried this out and I'm not sure if I was surprised or not. I can kind of see where my connection is to almost all of the highlighted groups. The one outlier I can see is the 'Japanese Natural History Enthusiasts'. Not saying it's not interesting, just don't know where it came from.
Well, the Pats were more successful than the slow cooker pork experiment. It's ok. A bit tomato heavy and the potatoes and peppers weren't quite soft enough. Don't think the recipe is worth sharing at this point.
Happy New Year everyone. All the best in 2026. Not a lot more to say but I do appreciate you all. Here's how I've spent the past few glorious hours:
Wow, just had a massive flashback. Completely forgot about this stuff. I just looked it up and I'm going to have to pass on learning any more about this:
I'm not sure if I agree with this 'Genre' value. I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing this song. Christmas Wrapping.
Around lunch time earlier today I spotted this guy out the window. He picked up the roadkill with one talon from the roadside and hopped to this safe spot in the other. He then enjoyed a leisurely lunch for about an hour. Unfortunately, it was one of the rabbits that lives around my house.
Yeah, I was thinking that, too. Reminds me of a nice little indie album from the 90s I liked a lot. The band is The Mudhens and the album name is Crickets.
Not to mention, the Blue Jays logo is undeniably superior to the Dodgers' logo. It's a frikken bird with the Canadian maple leaf vs. "L.A." in a tired, old style. Sit DOWN LA! You lose this matchup handily.
And I just found this on Muñoz's Instagram. He's a cat guy, which is huge for me.
