There's also a nasty issue on DJI Mimo that makes the exported videos corrupted in the first couple seconds. I have many great shots randomly ruined by this:
Working on a minimal Android client for DJI Osmo Action/Pocket/Nano cameras, to avoid using DJI Mimo. Doesn't require any login, no ByteDance SDKs, no internet connection whatsoever. Several users have reverse engineered the protocol for OP3/Action, but not for Nano, that's where I stepped in
A well known electronic warfare expert, Serhii Flash, who was working under Fedorov as advisor to the MoD is also out
In the Gijón incident, the pilot did the maneuver over water, and then instantly gained altitude over the crowd. Seems like Hegseth wants to gamble on cooking random beachgoers alive if there's ever a bunch of birds in the way
An FPV drone reaching at least 100km into russian territory is nothing to scoff at. Looks like some new repeater tech was used here, where multiple drones rebroadcast the signal to ground, check those frame sync issues and noise.
I don't take photos of videos with the glasses with people around because the light might make someone uncomfortable, so I just do it whenever I don't want to use my phone and I'm in a spot with no one around me.
I use them as over the ear headphones to listen to podcast, I don't use the camera function that often, and if I do it's for taking pictures of landscapes or when I do an activity in which I would use a GoPro (shooting, kayaking, boating, etc...).
Exactly! I just use them as headphones 90% of the time, sometimes takkng random pics of my day scattered here and there. How many people do you see in these photos?
So far, I seem to be the first to have fully reverse engineered the entire BLE/WiFi protocol for media offload on the Ray-Ban Stories, and built an app around it that doesn't need Meta's servers. Continuing to work on Meta Ray-Ban Gen 1 (hammerhead/supernova).
My research, directly cited in the FCC proposal of 25k fines (Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture) against multiple DJI shell companies for failing to respond to Letter of Inquiry in their inboxes:
I'm back to camera hacking. This time, Meta Ray-Ban stories smart glasses. Meta has crossed every red line there is. Facial recognition, mandatory login, shoving AI TikTok style video feeds into the app, health data acquisition. No more. It's time to kick Meta out of your face.
Great timing to find out my AC doesn't have a return filter installed and I've been running it non stop for a few weeks now. Always the sucker at 20°C and rooms were still very hot, so I had to clock some thermal readings just to be sure...
Discovered this cool watchface that shows the time and date as altitude and speed tapes of an aircraft primary flight display. Face is called PFD on the pebble app store.
EF-18 Hornets of the 46th air wing of the Spanish Air Force, stationed out of Gran Canaria, seen here escorting the Pope. A honorable last mission before the jets are retired. The Air Force is replacing the Hornets with newer model Eurofighters.
