@lilyeener.bsky.social and I went and took a muddy walk through Lindenwood nature preserve yesterday. Going to need to go there again once more as a chance to bloom. We were early and all that was in bloom was the same stuff as our chain o lakes trip. Did spot Canadian wild ginger tho!
I have over 70 plants just waiting to go outside. It’s infuriating the one fuckin thing I’ve wanted to do for months keeps getting pushed farther and farther back.
Man I am just absolutely struggling today. Been trying to stay positive but the happy brain chemicals are completely absent rn. Then I just made the mistake of looking at the weather forecast and it looks like I’m going to have to wait even longer to plant outside. Nightly lows are still too low ffs
I also took some random cool pictures while we were hiking. (The hill full of trilliums was so pretty. The picture doesn’t do it justice)
Went to Chain o Lakes this past weekend and had a great time with friends. Also went on a nice hike while we were there and took some fun flora pictures :3 Cream Violet Wild Geranium Great Waterleaf Squirrel Corn

Went to the local plant show today and picked up some new babies! 🪴🪴 I got a curly spider plant, a Thai Constellation (finally omg 😩) monstera, and a jewel orchid (ludisia discolor) :3 It was so cool and seeing all these crazy and rare plants really made me feel like a complete novice lol
Just got done watching a Leafs game with my dad. That was really nice. Was floored when he brought over a late birthday present from him and my mom. I’m now a proud owner of a maple leafs jersey and I am just over the moon. This day turned around big time. 💙🤍
