Thank you Had to take Fergus to the vet this morning. A bit of a worry but 🤞🏽 it’s not serious 5th birthday soon and just hoping we might cross the rainbow bridge together. Not sure how I’d cope with losing him

Agreed. My (normally) handsome boy was unimpressed with our very wet walk this morning
Not quite so dramatic but it was lovely in the Surrey Hills with Fergus this morning
Interesting. He comes from a long line of champion gun dogs. We don’t shoot But he fiercely protects his territory - score to date several grey squirrels pigeons and rats. Here checking out the snow and ice this morning
When I wake up from my afternoon nap - my thoughts are - where am I what’s the time where’s Fergus. He’s usually still napping

Snap -sort of. I try to read 1 page of poetry from this lovely book before I tuck into my bedtime novel. Us gardeners know summer has just about gone as we harvest and begin to put our veg beds to sleep - and look up when we hear the geese honking
