Ruthie is a new arrival from our local shelter but she's already the queen of the house. I read about "tortitude" when she first joined us and it's definitely a thing! She's equal parts cuddlebug and chaos monkey.

My uni had a themed program about apocalyptic thinking, and I taught a course called "Shakespeare at the End of the World." Students read Station 11 as well as plays like Richard III, Lear, Macbeth -- and a local theater group staged a dramatic reading of passages from the novel and several plays.
