When They Severed Earth From Sky is fascinating and changed my perspective on human history and how we preserve information. It's not very long and it tells myths, so if everyone had to read it, I think most people wouldn't be too put off.

Bunnies!

Meringue used to have a napping spot under a bench. I moved the furniture yesterday while cleaning, but she seems to have decided to stay in the same location and not move with it.

This book is so fucking good! I read it because @acollierastro.bsky.social recommended it on her Youtube channel, and she was right.

The cover of this excellent book: "Glorious Exploits" a novel by Ferdia Lennon. It's orange, with a grayscale line drawing of an ancient Greek statue head that has googly eyes on it. Is this a comedy? A tragedy? An historic fiction? It's all of these things. It's also a good yarn about friendship, with some insights from the narrator about his own nature and that of the world he lives in, the ancient Greek city of Syracuse during the Peloponnesian War.

Fuck Hulu. I cancelled my subscription and still got charged this month. I should have known better than to bother subscribing in the first place just to binge one new season of one show. And now their support queue is too long for them to help me. Of course.
