Pretty. Happy Wednesday.

I often wonder how helpful these descriptions are for someone who is blind. All the words I use are visually descriptive because to me flowers are a mostly visual experience, unless they also smell good. I don't touch or taste or hear flowers, so except for vision or smell, I feel unable to describe a flower to someone who has never seen one.
Is that the experience of people who are blind? If you are blind please reply to me in comments.

This is my arm and my leg. In North America in April. Two very different skin colors. And always will be the rest of my life. The idea that skin color has anything to do with who that person is wearing their skin is ridiculous. Humans are all colors, even between their own body parts.

It was 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Wisconsin yesterday. I think we are going to skip fall this year, which is my favorite season, so a bit bummed. So celebrating the plants that keep going and going. Cherry tomatoes, cukes, herbs and...Zinnia!
