We have a Plott Hound that looks a bit like Honey. The breed was brought over from Germany to fight/track/hunt bear. It is the NC state dog. We found him in a shelter and he thinks squirrels, badgers, raccoons, possums are good stand-ins until he can find a bear. (he won't. we don't have bear here).
I agree! However the fierce opposition to our No King's march showed up. They were 7 strong. 😂 We were 3K in red South Dakota.
Ruby (filly) and Ellie (Lab) were really good friends. Ellie is gone now due to old age and Ruby is getting up there in years. Good memories.
