One thing I love about Tom Paris is how well he argues. Arguing is a skill, and he has it in spades by S7. He generally keeps his cool, & the only times we hear him raise his voice to B’Elanna is when it isn’t him or his brain chemistry has been altered (‘Vis a Vis’, ‘Alice’, ‘Memorial’)

!!! This! Jonathan had more chemistry putting sunscreen on Caro in S1 than his entire screentime with Roxana (and why does he keep saying her full name every 5 minutes as if we’ve forgotten who she is??) No spoilers but I think you might be as mad at the ending as I am. S2 is so boring.

They keep calling Ethan “hot Spock” as if Zachary Quinto didn’t have a Fleet uniform that was tailored to within an inch of its life & was competing with Captain America in the “America’s ass” stakes, & that Leonard Nimoy’s Spock didn’t basically create romantic fanfiction as a genre.

If you want to know how well a man understands consent and nuance, ask him to explain the plot of Star Trek’s ‘Blood Fever’ to you. Because the problematic ones really struggle to understand it!
