I’ve never really wanted to read this, despite loving Greco-Roman mythology as a boy. Was interested in the broad strokes (Cyclops, Sirens, all that) but never quite enough. Now that I’ve entered my “interested in history” age though…everything I’ve heard about this translation sounds right.
Fuck it. What if I just read all my Moorcock books in publication order instead? Easy to digest but still chewy, which is what I’m looking for.
Since I’ve just about run out of Larry Fessenden movies to watch (give or take a couple), I’m working my way through the rest of the Glass Eye Pix catalogue. Been a neat late night project so far. Not everything works, but I’m having a good time watching these folks have fun.

The current tbr shelf organized by year of release because of that ocd life. #booksky
Oh dang! Arrow spinoff Toy Robot video announced their first wave of releases including Roaring Fire. That’s a white whale for me. Basically Hiroyuki Sanada doing 80’s Jackie Chan.
I also cannot see this book’s title without singing “Sister Christian” in my head
Was scanning the NYRB sale just to see if there’s anything that catches my interest, but I did find
This looks alright, but oh boy another LSH continuity for people to be mad about
Exceedingly pumped that one of Harlan Ellison's most annoyingly out-of-print collections is getting put back into circulation this September. It's not his best (that's Deathbird Stories), but nice to see another high-profile release following that Greatest Hits collection.
