I love Marty Robbins. Saw him sing at the Grand Ole Opry in about 1966. Then again the next day standing in a swimsuit in his front yard while on one of those “Stars Homes” bus tours.

I have had a few grape or cheery tomatoes but the full-sized ones are about the size of a plum. My cukes are just now setting on flowers. But this little guy doubled in size since yesterday!

Visited my dad on birthday #92. Hope I’m as well-maintained as him at that age.

His name is Charlie Brown. 92 years old, wearing a red, black and white plaid shirt , smiling at the camera. If you look close, you’ll see stitches and steri-strips under his left eye because he had skin cancer removal oved on Wednesday. A well-spent youth working in the sun on the family farm has taken a toll on his skin.

Good, will be 92 in July. Still active. He played softball into his 50s, worked for the Missouri National Guard full-time his entire career. Yes, he’s MAGA but he’s not going to change, and I’m not going to let that ruin familial love.
