I just came back from a care meeting at my folks’ facility, and if you wanted to know how it went:

Yesterday was the anniversary of my MIL’s death. Today would have been my FIL’s 76th birthday. My birthday is Saturday. I’m bummed to not have the “how are we doing the birthdays” convo. Also, this came up in my FB memories:
One Pot Lentils. Recipe says shredded carrots. I have no time for that. I slice 2 carrots into .25” rounds.
You guys. We went to New Orleans with @egyptoknuckles.bsky.social and all I got were these amazing earrings. And a cold.
