Happy as a pig in poo, sanded the lettering I carved and dried a few days ago while relaxing in the afternoon sun on the bow. Looking forward to putting these into a sculpture in a few days time.
Selling outside today and taking advantage of the warm weather to carve and dry some lettering for 2 new pieces ready for sanding. Another 4 sets of lettering to carve.

Due to a temporary lack of resources arty fartyness is at a standstill. Not being able to keep my hands idle I'm finishing a granny square blanket Xmas present and starting a sunflower square throw for myself.

This creature isn't simply crude or nasty or just a spiteful old narcissistic. It is a sewer dwelling bottom feeder which has no limit to the depths of the sewer it is willing to plummet along with its paid escort and offspring.

Out and about in a university town looking at baroque bas relief art on the 18th century buildings. This is similar to pieces I've already created.

I like the baroque style so much I'm moving into incorporating it into my artwork portfolio. What this trailer trash gibbon has done here isn't art (symmetry doesn't = art), it isn't opulence, it tells no story (baroque bas does) and has no skill or creativity or oppulence or history attached to it.

Pieces roughly the place I want them. Branches stems & tiny leaves to be sculpted in then this can go to the drying out place waiting for the 'to be molded' queue to move along. This will be slightly different from my usual painting style a solid antique white colour with sepia patina 45cmx30cm

What a bloody day !! Walking up a country lane to a bus stop which was so steep I was almost abseiling up it while trying to avoid a liquid manure spillage. Finally got to Trowbridge Tesco and wolfed down the chocolate cake. Trip back in the pitch black won't be fun. I need wine.
