Eh just a quick little doodle. Nothing special. Did this in two minutes. Barely a scribble.

THIS ONE!! Its called “cup-a-bug catcher” and is basically based on the “glass and paper” method. I plan to get this myself too because it seems super handy

Went to the nobel museum today! It was cool but way smaller exhibition than I expected. So i also checked out the postal museum which had more things and was rly neat!

Remember that the beauty of a rainbow is because its against a low saturated backdrop. Use saturation for points of interest.

MASSIVE PROTIP: if your drawing software has a color jitter setting for your brushes, you should absolutely use that setting. I used the same colors on these two but one was made w color jitter enabled.

Heres an example of a study i did a few weeks ago where a warm base did a ton to get the end result close to the ref:

PART TWO: basically: ORANGE is the warmest base color. Use GRAYS at the later stages if rendering. Look at how they appear cool or warm when surrounded by the relative colors of your work. COLOR THEORY IN PRACTICE IS LITERALLY 95% taking ADVANTAGE OF OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
