Got the Snider a new mechanism and it’s back up on the wall. Gotta love MCM Canadian starburst clocks. The clock repair person was really excited to see this old beauty.
I remember reading and teaching about 1984 with students back in the day. Some would ask “why we are learning about this?” It’s hard to believe things happening in the world right now; I wonder if people like me didn’t answer that question well enough. Sadly, Orwell was spot on. 😔

Making progress on the ‘66 Raleigh RM12. Still lots to do, but it’s nice to get the wheels back and (sort of) on.
I’ve posted this a few times before on Fridays, but this week holds a bit of a different vibe.
The ‘66 Raleigh RM12 motor has been almost completely rebuilt by my daughter and me. I can’t think of a better project to do with my kiddo - this is such a blast.
