The City of Lakewood has declared a Fire Ban for Lakewood’s parks and open space areas.

Activities not allowed during a fire ban:
Fires of any kind, including but not limited to charcoal grills and fire pits.
Smoking, except in an enclosed vehicle or an area six feet in diameter that is barren or cleared of all combustible materials. All smoking materials must be discarded in approved containers.

REMINDER: fireworks of any kind ( including sparklers, Roman candles, sky lanterns or any other device containing an explosive substance) are never allowed in the City of Lakewood.
