Stop 8 and (hopefully) the final one is ‘It Ain’t Much if it Ain’t Dutch’, a brilliant but, (very) dangerous place - I bloody love it!
Stop 7 is Blue Monk where a Newbarns Kali IPA and a Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus are the order of the day. A cool space that has replaced the Moor tap room. It’s a sister pub to The Volley in Old Street but with more choice of beer ❤️
Stop 6 is Big Hug which was unplanned but glad we stopped, it’s super friendly and there is an American Brown on keg which is always good to see?
Stop 5 is the awesome Cloudwater. Choice is plentiful and varied. Love this place ❤️. @gamerdrinker.bsky.social found a beauty of a Cloudwater collab with the South Korean brewery Gorilla in the fridge🍻
Stop 4 is Craft Beer Junction. A selection of beers from Florida here including a Golden Ale based on the Fat Tuesday Cake. Peri however prefers the 15.5% impy!
Stop 3 is the Against the Grain Cider House. Dry hopped elderflower cider is really refreshing but I’m looking forward to a Dabinett Scrumpy!
Stop 2 is The Kernel tap, which never disappoints. A great selection to choose from, including Export Stout BA in Red Wine & Cognac - Peri is ecstatic 😂
It’s been a while since been in this area but first stop in Bermondsey is Battersea Sub-Station where the ‘Red Means Red’ Rye IPA is delicious.
Bit shocked to find myself at #ealingbeerfestival for a 4th day and in the same seat each day too 🍻😂

Had a West Coast pale from Two Flints called Texas Sun which was absolutely outstanding (no photo unfortunately 😻). Rusty Bucket had a really good selection today. Now in @apintofhops.bsky.social where Allagash Curieux is tasting great.
The Leuven Craft Beer Festival is terrific but the weather is effing horrible (wish it was cold and raining!)
Spending time in the lovely Metafoor before the Leuven Craft Beer Fest opens & thought my third beer should be low alcohol. Went for the 0.5% Troubadour Zestra & it’s rather delicious - smells like their Magma with a lighter version of the flavour. If only all low alcohol beer tasted like this! 🍻🥰
Stop 4 is slightly out of town but worth the walk. De Reynaert is a great and very friendly locals bar with a huge selection of beers - this includes the new Duvel Tripel Hop! We come here once a year or so and the owner always recognises us ❤️🍻
Stop 3 is Blauwe Kater - an old favourite. XX bitter and a Surrealiste Cosmic Rainbow. I think @tabamatu.bsky.social will appreciate this one 🤪
Stop two was Hops n More where we had a 16.6 impy stout, appropriate as it is their 6th birthday weekend - Peri was ecstatic, Oberon sensible and Mozzarella disdainful!🍻🤪. Great selection for drink in including a pair of bag-in-box lambics.
First stop in Leuven is Domus Brewery tap where a flight was in order, starting with a refreshing pils, then the amber and triple 🍻
Now at home and it’s not often we feel like using our lambic basket/pottery, but it is the perfect beer and night to do so! ❤️
After a fab beer and cheese pairing courtesy of @thedodomicropub.bsky.social and Pretty Decent Brewery we decided it was time for @queerbrewing.bsky.social Synth IPA in commiseration at the recent, very sad news of their closure. Lily’s video was heart breaking 💔
We’ve had just over 4 wonderful hours in the Trafalgar, finishing on this beauty from France ❤️🍻
First stop today is the wonderful Trafalgar, South Wimbledon. This is a true gem of a pub. We may be here for some time 🥰🍻
