Lampy
@lampy
Pixel arts practitioner, and sometimes 3d, and that's not all of it. AKA lampysprites. Portfolio: cara.app/lampysprites Stuff: lampy.casa No ai, no exceptions.
Figured out my own immediate UI (in Kha). Fun! It was not as complicated after figuring the whole approach.
Gravatar, mostly known for breaking profile pictures in github commits, now allowed themselves to offer your identity to ai. It was often used in hipster era apps to show avatar.
Thanks to unprecendented procrastination, I organized like 5 years of #aseprite scripts (to 50+ total). Mostly they're minor improvements but I can't work without most of them. Docs and formatting are low effort (no pics) but mention everything. Look for an aseprite section at 🌏 lampy.casa.
Heyo #portfolioDay, you came just in time! I draw #pixelArt (mostly #gameArt) and sometimes explore the third dimension. Mainly cozy or colorful but secretly open to other things. More stuff in portfolio at cara.app/lampysprites. Open to work (short or long) - email lampysprites@hotmail.com or DM
Got haxe completion and debugging (eval for now) to work in Kate. The docs are very fragmented if any.
again losing entire days of my life to troubleshoot whatever this is this time. never get anything from amd
But my heart goes to "Frog Dress Up Game" by azurecoffin azurecoffin.itch.io/girlsgogame
A while ago I made a "game engine" that turns a psd file with layers into a dress-up game (html5 or exe included, others you can build yourself). The repackaged version runs much faster than it used to but otherwise hasn't changed. ➡️ lampy.casa/mousePSD/
I'm trying to rehost old projects on lampy.casa but it's bit slow because some plugins need a touch up to keep up with updates. (I'll look into rss for it)
Update of my theme for @aseprite.org: Still messy! But works better than before. - High resolution - Neutral colors - Dark and light version ➡️ lampy.casa/insipid-aseprite
Trying to update the old ase theme (but not yet there). They changed most things that needed lots and lots of workarounds when i made it first. Now, all of them turned against me 🙂
Made abilities equippable, though obviously it will look very differently in the end. Haxe's completion now crashes after a couple of uses in most files, or replaces my code with garbage. It's very hard to anything at all really.
Got perk/status system working. It can do a bit more than only math the base values, say replace where the unit can move (and should work for enemies as well, though now in theory).
The loop closes: exhausted units spend a few turns before returning to the bat-field.
Had a few setbacks but figured it out and finished turnbasing. There's still no end to bats but now it's a proper fight.
