La Resistencia is concerned because once a person is moved to medical isolation the person is restricted from contacting anyone from the outside. "We are on hunger strike to fight against the discrimination and injustice of GEO. We need to speak up."
Jeffersonking Anyanwu and Sulayman Sarr go into day four of their hunger strike. Both are doing unwell. Jeffersonking and Sulayman were separated because GEO told them they will be sent to medical isolation soon.

Jeffersonking and Sulayman are striking to protest an incident that happened on Tuesday, July 7th at 12:50pm. They were stopped, along with 4 other colleagues, by a GEO officer in front of the law library.

Today marks day 2 of the 15th hunger strike inside NWDC. Juan Luis Flores Vallejo began his strike yesterday, June 16 since he and others from his unit were moved to segregation for unfair charges. Juan demands that both he and his 12 unitmates be returned to general population.
