In case there was any question about where I stand:

6 books in June! 1 print book, 1 ebook, 4 audiobooks, 3 library loans. I’ve been experimenting with listening to nonfiction at bedtime instead of re-listening to old favorites. #books #reading #booksky

A couple pictures from our walk today to the post office.

10 books on March and a nice variety. 2 library loans, 4 re-reads, 5 audiobooks, 5 print books, 0 ebooks. #booksky #reading #books

I‘m not sure why, but I find it charming when a book tells me about its typeface. Probably because it makes the book I’m holding feel more connected to the earliest printed books. #booksky #books #reading

Build your own snow bear! Community art project in Central Park. #NYC #NewYorkCity

Some of my reading goals for 2026 include reading more of the books I already own and finally tackling my white whale, the book I’ve been trying to finish since elementary school: Little Women. Here’s just part of my TBR shelf: #books #reading #booksky #toberead #tbr

First (Belated) Book Wrap Up of 2026! It’s been a busy year. Mostly finished up a few books I started in 2025. 3 print, 2 ebooks, 3 audiobooks, 2 rereads, 4 library loans. #reading #booksky #books

Despite the exhaustion of doing anything with a toddler, visiting the city is always a rejuvenating experience. It was a good day of great friends and amazing art. Also, my son has now napped in four different museums.

We’ve now spent almost five hours shoveling snow and we’re not done yet. Some people in our neighborhood didn’t start shoveling yesterday and o can’t imagine how bad they have it today.

And it’s time for my 2025 wrap-up! I read 80 books, beating my goal of 75 and the 64 I read last year. I did really slow down over the summer, but things picked back up after that. It felt like a really good mix of titles and formats. Here’s to more books in 2026! #books #reading #booksky

My intent for December was to finish some of the books I’d started and set aside earlier in the year so it looks like I read much more than I did. 7 audiobooks, 6 ebooks, 1 physical book, 4 re-reads, 10 library loans. #reading #books #booksky

Not sure how it’s already December, but here we are. 2 audiobooks, 3 ebooks, 1 re-read, 4 library loans. For about a week there I couldn’t stop talking about “Atmosphere.” #reading #books #booksky

1. Buy cheap knock-off Uggs (this is the best time of year for it!)
2. Add bias tape to the top
3. Paint the soles using flexible acrylic paint (I used Plaid FX, but I’m not sure how available it is now)
4. Spray soles with a clear sealant

Happy Thanksgiving! Our turkey made a break for it, but grateful to be surrounded by family.

Took a walk this afternoon. Most of the leaves are now on the ground so it’s really starting to feel like winter. Then I spotted this bush with two blooms holding out against the weather.

A pretty good month for reading! 4 audiobooks, 3 ebooks, 3 re-reads, all library loans. I loved The Incandescent and I’m happy I finally got around to trying Sanderson. #reading #booksky #books

They did make the cups and saucers!

I’m mostly offline these days…maybe that’s why I’ve been able to read more? 8 books in September, 4 audiobooks, 3 ebooks, 1 paperback, 6 library loans, 1 re-read. Highly recommend Bury Our Bones. #books #booksky #reading

I’m late with my August wrap-up, but it was a pretty disappointing month for reading. 2 audiobooks, 1 ebook, 1 re-read, 2 library loans. Cannot really recommend either of the new books I read this month. #booksky #books #reading
