It does not stop there. First, they ask for your ID. Then, they ask to monitor the device in your pocket and your private messages.

That is something police can only do with due cause and a court order. This effectively inverts the presumption of innocence and puts a policeman in your pocket.

Lovfesting av at helsepersonellet som trenger opplysningene, selv skal vurdere om tilgjengeliggjøringen av opplysningene oppfyller lovens krav om at de er relevante og nødvendige for å yte helsehjelp til pasienten. I dag er det helsepersonellet som har ansvar for opplysningene som må vurdere dette. Se punkt 4.3.4 og forslaget til helsepersonelloven § 25 tredje ledd.

Vi er ikke imot forskning! Forskning trenger vi alltids mer av. Vi er imot å bli utsatt for uetisk forskning av leger som undergraver vår rett til nødvendig helsehjelp. Og de omtaler demoen JEG organiserte, uten å si noe om argumentene våre, eller NBTKs dokumenterte forbindelse til hatgrupper😑

Akershus Rød Ungdom arrangerte en demonstrasjon mot konferansen, med representanter for Pasientorganisasjonen for kjønnsinkongruens til stede. «Nylig ble forskere på transhelse møtt med hatanklager i Oslo», skrev Aftenposten i sin omtale av saken.

Både fagfolk og pasientorganisasjoner er uenige om hva som er den beste behandlingen for personer med kjønnsinkongruens, særlig barn og unge.

Noen vil stramme inn, andre vil liberalisere.

Å kalle tranfolks holdning til NBTKs forskning "politisk skepsis" er i best fall tonedøvt og uinformert, når vi så lenge har blitt utsatt for uetisk forskning med så dårlig metodikk at den undergraver sitt eget mål. Denne mistilliten har NBTK mer en fortjent. psykologisk.no/2024/09/nbtk...

"Pasientene deres har opplevd å bli stilt irrelevante, intime, og meget ukomfortable spørsmål mens de har blitt utredet hos NBTK. Spørsmål som, ifølge NBTK, var del av et forskningsprosjekt det var frivillig å delta i.

Mange ble ikke forklart at det var frivillig, og de som fikk det forklart, turte likevel ikke å si nei og svarte uærlig i frykt for at noe annet ville få konsekvenser for behandlingen. Har en studie med store mengder falske svar noen verdi?"

Just learned of an interesting Half Life 2 mod called The Burton Equation. Haven't tried it yet, but one thing I super appreciate seeing on the Steam page is this declaration at the bottom. Just as using "AI" is the quickest way to kill my interest, taking a firm stance against it draws me in.

This whole conference has been very refreshing and invigorating. The fight for trans rights and health often feels hopeless and lonely, so being in such a big room full of passionate people working to counter the mainstream transphobic narrative with peer reviewed science is so healing
