An old punk (54) disabled from degenerative disc disease, lifelong pacifist, liberal, and traditional artist. I work in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, stoneware, and porcelain. Joyfully married
It's always a picture of one of my cats. Usually Maggie. My all time most popular was a painting of Maggie.
Archer had some digestive issues as a kitten. He's better but he makes a lot of gas. He'll just fall over all sweet and cuddly, and fart with joy. He doesn't leave me alone with it, but he just keeps going. Sometimes he'll cut one so bad he'll look up at me like I offended him. But he's my baby.😅
I really do miss Fiestas in Las Vegas New Mexico. There's several bands every day for a week and then one free concert every Friday for several weeks. They let me set up on the side of the stage. It was awesome. We found a Livestream! The music rocks this year! 🤘❤️🤘
Still goofing around (badly) with bird expressions More weirdness to follow, I just have to bang my head on some figure references
I can't get up quietly. As soon as I get up. Our cat Stormy, who can't use his voice like a normal cat, runs in all floofed up and lets out a joyful RAWR. Then Theo, who honks like Howard Cosell, runs in behind him. Usually there is a brotherly tussle shortly after that... 🙄😮💨😅 Theo & Stormy
A tribute (sarcastic) To the late not great moron physicist that was stepfather. I would say he got what he deserved but he didn't really. He lived as a respected scientist with a million dollar salary until he DUI'd himself. #art #artsky #lowbrowsurrealism
2022 From my gallery show that got buried by a forest fire and a pandemic... 😮💨😅
"unformed" This began as an exercise to loosen up. 30 minutes. Sometimes I start with no goals to see where it leads.
Another shot of me way back when. 2003 I think. This is me with my first actual mountain bike. A Jamis Dakota XC with Shimano xt group.
Talking bicycles with people today has me feeling it. I used to ride around 180 miles a week. This is me with my last bike before I broke my knee. I'm glad I broke my knee before my back went out though. Could have been worse.
Last night I coughed. Messed up the bit of my spine that makes my hands hurt and shake. Today is less than great so far. 😮💨 Sometimes the mind says shitty things to you when the body isn't working. "Magpie mind"

"mercy" Have you ever been humbled. Broken down before an apathetic world. Staring god in the face, knowing God can't help you and the ones who can won't. Knowing the truth of being helpless. Watching as things fall apart around you. Floating on the remains of your life.
My father and I hadn't spoken to each other for years. We reconnected when I married Bodhi. He was so proud of my art.😭 We fought about art for 40 years. I'm grateful, I got to see my father proud of me and my art before Alzheimer's took him. Happy father's day dad.
