Trans Pride Manchester had a brilliant turnout yesterday. I organised the skaters from Rainy City, Arcadia and Manchester Roller Derby. ❤️ my tribe.

Rainy City Roller Derby & Arcadia Roller Derby will be skating the Trans Pride Manchester Protest March. If you're coming, look out for us skating up and down the line. I did this last year and it went down very well. We have a lot to protest about that is for sure. Shout me out if you see me.

I am the 3rd time lucky girl! I finally got to see @holycovesband.bsky.social last night and it was lovely to see Scott after. Awesome gig with awesome people. Had a lovely chat with Sean from Hazy Sundays at the after party. Come to Manchester again soon please. 😘

Was supposed to officiate, but Arcadia were short of jammers so I ended up in the crazy situation of jamming against my own team (Rainy City). Was so much fun. Obviously Rainy one, but I nailed a fair few points as jammer. :)

Happy International Womens Day. Where else would I be than with this awesome bunch of women playing roller derby.

We are definitely going this Saturday. It’s a really nice vibe with a great group of people. Will my husband fall over? Come see. 😆

MRD Jammer Club yesterday. The first rule of Jammer Club is we talk about Jammer Club! It was an awesome morning training and really getting my focus on jammer skills. So much fun! 🙂

Rainy City Roller Derby Christmas party was so much fun last night. Who knew having a ball fight could be so much fun. 😆

What a beautifully awesome day it was at Skaters Unite for Trans Rights. All proceeds went to GLP & Trans Mutual Aid. A great day for the Manchester Roller Derby teams to join forces as we fight for our rights.

Had a fantastic first proper game jamming for Rainy City against Liverpool. We didn't win, but we still netted nearly 200 points and for an unofficial D team with 7 rookies playing a C team, that's a win to me. Was absoluteluy awesome. ❤️ Roller derby. 😍

Today is game day where I get to captain for Rainy City and take on Liverpool Roller Birds C Team. I am the jammer. 🙂

Finally I got my husband to put wheels on his feet! With some fab tuition from Grant of Skating Queer he got going. Even better, he enjoyed it! Had an awesome time at Skating Queer in Ardwick and met some awesome people. We'll be back again in two weeks time. 🙂

I don't normally fall over, but today I hit a stone skating down the road and yep, ended up on my arse, well thigh. I landed on one knee, then went over. If only I could have done a 'pornstar' landing. Derby skills! 😆

I'm really loving getting into jamming more at Rainy City. Yes, there's some derby kisses in there, but it so worth it. Though it might not look like it, avoiding hitting people was the mission here! 💜

New skate day! These are my Chaya Elite Purple Evil skates. I bought these to cruise and practice outdoors on quads to help my derby skills. Wheels are very soft but they ride rough ground pretty well. It's always a compromise. 1.5 hours & 11km first time out is a good sign. It's too hot!
