Arrived after midnight to this. Is it a great film? Depends on your definition, but it is a fascinating artefact of queer cinema, especially from the 1960s.
New addition to the queer media archive. A lot of scratches admittedly, but I know a place that can get them out for cheap.
New addition to my home media collection. Yes, not queer, but listen. Home media of this awesome movie is out of print. So if I'm offered a deal that costs me 50ish instead of hundreds, I'm going to take it.
Bought my new addition to the queer media archive locally today. I wish more of Julio Torres' work was on home media (I do have the rest saved on my external hard drive), he's consistently done amazing queer absurdism up there with John Waters that I think more people should see.

New queer media archive addition! I had put off getting this one since I was concerned a secondhand edition with the Odorama card would make the inside stink. So I found a library copy that looked like it didn't have it, just coming with the cool poster. Turns out it did.
I did accept Fury using a bit of then modern slang of the '60s. But no, I don't think he would use 'dude'.
Huh. This splash page that people tend to have in mind as part of 'Steranko's run' wasn't done by him. It was Frank Springers'.
People gave Kirby such a hard time for his incredible collage art, and meanwhile Steranko's Kirby-esque collage was adored.

I've seen this page before. I thought it came from the Nick Fury series after Strange Tales. Nope, came in late in Strange Tales. Far from the days of misdrawn Kirby faces. *Sigh* You could've still been beloved, Steranko.

Not liking this villain was used at all (you had the German guy alongside him, could've just used him instead). But holy shit op art!
