Huhu, on this point I can provide probably way more photos than you could have ever wanted. My scrapbook is sort of a junk journal for scrap paper and collage as well, so it’s really nice to get pretty colored envelopes and stamps to include too!!

Yeah, I think this is a bit unclear tbh, and their dismissive response so far could be explained if the tag system IS optional, but it doesn’t sound that way to me — does refusing to use the new tags count as mistagging or not?

Please note that the next phase of this update is coming this Sunday at Spring26 Release, and that penalties for mistagging will be more strictly enforced starting June 1, 2026.

Owner doesn’t seem to have even read my request for clarification on whether affected artists will be involved in assessment of the “context and intent” behind any drawing they feel needs to be labeled, the response is basically just “Shut up and use the tags, perv” like come onnnnn

It does not. You say it's not meant to be penalizing but also include that penalties for failure to follow these new guidelines will be more strictly applied in the near future. Do I get input as an artist on whether I think my work is in a sexual or suggestive context and intent, or does disagreeing with your ruling on that mean I get an invisible strike and making too many "untagged" posts means I get banned for thinking it's ridiculous to censor men's nipples in a nonsexual drawing? How are we meant to trust that this isn't the first step towards moving NSFW artists off VGen altogther due to pressure from payment processors? I believe this was implemented in good faith, but I know a lot of other people aren't being so generous in their view of the situation.

I find it reprehensible to define what kinds of clothing are constituted as inherently revealing, and weight clearly does play a role since you and your staff felt a need to demonstrate different cup sizes in your example charts. I am fat, therefore I have more breast tissue, and even clothing I could wear to a corporate office without penalty may show cleavage as a result, but according to these guidelines that would be sexually suggestive. The resulting feeling is that I, as a fat person, have an inherently more sexually inappropriate body that must be allowed to be filtered out. These guidelines are arbitrary and not at all going to perform as intended. I am in favor of robust tagging systems to allow users to customize their site experience, I've said before that I think Bluesky for example should have more tagging options, but as I have stated here and in your community Discord, and which is a sentiment shared by many others, the way you've implemented this falls very short and is overreaching in several directions. I am not enthusiastic about continuing to use VGen if this system goes forward without further adjustment.
