Aw! Farewell Alex Zanardi. One of the most exciting racing drivers ever. Lost his legs in an accident in 2001, so he started racing handbikes and won Olympic gold medals at that! The greatest sportsman of all time. A true definition of champion! 🏆 🏅
Catch up with these 2 handsome devils on the turkey leg of their world tour of Ealing Broadway tonight at The North Star from 9pm 🤘
Some days ye just wanna scream! I didn't know if I could pull it off, so I sang along to a karaoke track I found before sending it to the others. Timing was all over the place on karaoke track to make it sound more human, but had a click track. Kudos to Andy for being the human 🥁 who made it work 🤟
Honoured to be invited to play at this event in support of our amazing friend and bandmate Andy Woodard. We'll be joined by many of our musical friends to raise awareness for Motor Neuron Disease. If you happen to be in Surrey, come & join us. All kinds of live music throughout the day 🤘
Show time changes for tonight's gigs to allow us all time to enjoy watching a bunch of young men kick a little windbag around a field for lots of money 🤘
This is a "floor cajon" that I made out of some scrap wood and a cheap SM57 mic capsule. I sit this on the floor and stomp on it with the heel of my boot for acoustic gigs. I'm gonna put some padding at the front of it so only the heel gets a clean hit. Happy with this! 🤘
Back in 2020, we got this group together online and recorded our parts remotely for this cover of Rosanna by Toto. In this video, you see Oli playing his Yamaha electric kit, from which I took the midi data and fed it to BFD Drums to get the result that you hear later in the video. 🤘
Quick, cheap scrap cigar box for stomping. This is great for doing those acoustic gigs. 🤘
Interesting that they called this building in Mill Hill "Ayrton House". Its 2 streets away from the house where Graham & Damon Hill used to live. @mhhistsoc.bsky.social @timenw.bsky.social
Some news on the cost of living crisis from December 1972. Your weekly shopping bill went down by a whopping 1/2p!
Well, almost 1973 - 30th December 1972. I find these old newspapers every now and again in my day job. It is really quite shocking how expensive consumer goods, clothes and cars were and of course how relatively cheap houses were back then!
I found this from a 1972 Daily Mirror behind a kitchen unit at an old house I was working in a few weeks ago.
Starting the weekend on Wednesday this week. Catch me on acoustic at O'Neill's Wardour Street Soho from 8:30, then "Groovinators" on middle floor from 11pm & DJ until 2am 🤘
Rocking out with the boys tonight at O'Neill's Wardour Street Soho 🤘
Back in 2021 when I spent most of my time in pyjamas recording music. This is my lovely 1991 Jackson Soloist #musiciansky
Thursday night rock n roll! 🤘 #thursday #livemusic #coventgarden #london #pint #beer
2005 - On drums with "JAG" supporting Madness on their forrest tour. I loved this band, they had some fantastic songs. Free beer all summer! 😁
So, since we got video now, here I am screaming my nuts off to my fave Guns n Roses tune! #video #musiciansky
