Had some dark orange cheddar cheese that was getting moldy so cut off nasty bits, grated with some jalapeño cheddar, made mac and cheese with panko topping. Yummy! 👨‍🍳

Our boys are undefeated tonight winning Northeast Division title for the second year in a row 6-2 against Connecticut Rush in front of sold out crowd of 2700! So much fun! Sorry, USL2, not MSL2, duh. Got too excited!

I got one! With wonky knees it’s perfect.

Blue etrike with smaller seat than it came with (it was too big and had a backrest which was uncomfortable.) Has a wide rear carrier with gray zippered case.

Yes! With bad knees a bike wouldn’t do. I got one with a bit more power (750watt) because it’s hilly around me. Max 20mph. 500 lbs max load! Mine has nice rear rack, and I replaced seat with no backrest one. Local electric company had generous rebate program which made it even more reasonable.

I replaced my super cushy seat that had an adjustable back (not needed!) and almost no nose with this one. It was hard to pedal because I have small rear end. 🙄 This is comfy!

Wide padded seat with slight lip in back to keep from sliding off and a ventilation space behind nose of seat where crotch rides. I have an etrike because I’m old. 😎

8 million in 3200+ cities is only 2500 per city. Burlington VT is a city of under 45,000 and we had more than that. A gross underestimate, as usual. #NoKings

Got a craving for japchae. Took a few days to get all the ingredients lined up. Worth the time and effort, cooking all components separately and assembling. #food

Separate containers with sliced matchstick red onions, carrots, sweet peppers, shiitake mushrooms, zucchinis. Steak defrosting a bit then also slivered.
Next: add marinades to shiitakes and beef slivers.

Finished with cooked marinated beef and onions. Forgot to top with slivers of fried egg whites and fried egg yolk, sesame seeds! Tomorrow’s lunch will have it all!

I have black leather, red line around sole seam, waterproof Cole-Haan boots which are quite fashionable, warm, and DRY! I have North Face boots for serious weather. Used these for dog-sledding!

Oooh love it. Sandwich without the sand. I grabbed a bite last night that was sooo good! Tender brined bird. 24 hour stock that was started right after dinner. So much stock! 3 different concentrations.

16 pounds “and whaddaya get, another day older and deeper in debt!” 😎 A perfectly brined and cooked bird, sides, my offspring, an “orphan” friend, enjoyed an evening of food, talk, music. All’s cleaned up, carcass simmering overnight for turkey broth. A very good thanksgiving, and I’m grateful.

Local farm bred bird, locally grown veggies.
We didn’t know how big the bird was going to be (ordered smallest available!) so didn’t buy aluminum roasting pan, improvised with foil.
It was moist and delicious!
