I made a mistake early on but by the time I noticed, I wasn’t going to unravel it all. I am comfortable in knowing it’s proof of homemade with love. I am loving the yarn, Shaniko Merino Wool.
Fair isle cowl is finished. The jog doesn’t bother me and I love the floats almost as much as the right side. For anyone wanting to try fair isle I say just jump in. This was fun!
First time fair isle and knitting continental style after 50 years of English style. The yarn is from my stash so contrast isn’t ideal with speckled and painted yarns. 🧶#showmeyourknits
Mitered squares blanket in sock, fingering, and lace yarns. A joy to knit, will take me all year to replace my quilt though 🧶 #showmeyourknits, #knitting
Made my first bread since the Sourdough starter was finally active enough. 25% rye and oh so tasty! So proud of it! Thanks to The Perfect Loaf and a neighbor who recommended it.
My Favorite Gluten Free Choc Chip Banana Bread and clearly popular with the gluten eating crowd too. I know I baked a whole loaf not too long ago. 😂 #bakingsky
Getting there, only about 11 repeats of the lace to go. Older pattern from an old Interweave magazine pattern - desert flower shawl. 🧶 #knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting
My first try at gluten free sourdough biscuits. Not quite hockey pucks but only a couple of steps up. 🤣 #sourdough, #sourdoughlove #sourdoughstarter
A stripy shawl that will finish with lace knitting 🧶 #showmeyourknits #knit, #knitting
Homemade bourbon cranberry compote. Making ahead for Thanksgiving. Was never a fan of cranberry sauce but this changed my mind! #WhatscookingforThanksgiving
New to baking but have been making this almost every week in the last two months. Best choc chip banana bread ever!
Did this a couple of years ago. Took a few months but I’m really loving the result. #showmeyourknits #justknitting #knit
Dahlias were lovely this year. Digging them up this weekend since we have just had our first hard frost
