I'm working on a new Herd print run. The first one had special LOK and Abdec puzzles hidden on the box lid. Due to the unforeseen circumstances, I released Workworkwork before Herd, even though Herd was already printed and finished by then. So now, I decided to also include a WWW puzzle on the lid.
Playing Dragon Of Etchinstone for the first time - it’s good!!
Daily Herd photo - this time by the Discord user "eat_grass_"
Every once in a while I return to @josephmansfield.uk 's Abdec playthrough series to watch the highlights (Parts 9 and 10 are such feel-good moments for me as the designer 😅) and I feel like this screenshot of the playlist describes Abdec better than any review 🙃
Dragons Of Etchinstone is again available to order. Anyone played it? What can I expect?
Letibus Design catalogue (LOK, Abdec, Workworkwork, Herd) is now stocked by the US store Top Deck Games! www.topdeckgamesonline.com
LOK 3rd Edition is now available as physical books! Besides new LOKs, we also received new Workworkworks, so the Letibus Bundle is again available! Check out the Letibus store: letibus.bigcartel.com Read all about the changes in the new edition of LOK here: letibus.itch.io/lok/devlog/1...
Yesterday, I released a new edition of LOK! A whole new expansion, some new secrets, everything with an additional layer of polish. You can read about the changes here: letibus.itch.io/lok/devlog/1...
I just released the third edition of my puzzle book LOK, currently only available as a free PDF version, but soon also in the printed book format. Read more about the changes here: letibus.itch.io/lok/devlog/1...
I made an overhaul of Plac's face implementation (1st image is what's new). Recently, I showed the game to my partner + her daughter who are NOT puzzle people. They got hung up on the faces - which are mooostly 👀 aesthetic addition - thinking it affected how you can rotate and plac(e) the blocks.
Ayyy, after a bit of a drought of Herd purchases / feedback, I was really happy to read this comment / review on Itch :)
Working on a bunch of small stuff that I wanted to update in LOK book since 4 years ago when I released the 2nd edition. My LOK stock will run out shortly, so it's a great time address it. A small teaser for the 3rd edition that'll probably be released in the next couple of months.
I'm working on PLAC again. I worked on it in 2025 for a few intense weeks, but it had some big problems, so I abandoned it. Well, I think I managed to solve the problems after all this time and have been enjoying developing it again! Very crunchy system.
Uploaded a new PNP build of the second edition of All Is Bomb. It’s still ugly, but content wise, it’s getting there! Would love some new playtesters - shoot me a DM if you’re interested
The advanced rule is that if you cover multiple symbols with a piece, "something" happens. However, I want to first explore the possibilities ignoring this advanced rule - I want to present puzzles where a piece always covers only one symbol. How to communicate this with a gentle "shouldn't"?
An example is PLAC, a game I worked on last year (haven't finished it yet, but might do it someday). In PLAC, you place pieces into the grid and if you cover a symbol, you must place another piece depicted by that symbol, and so on.
