Co-authored by Professor Karen Sands-O'Connor & Dr Darren Chetty, BtSG examines "how Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic voices have been represented in our national story of children’s literature, and how we can bring about change". This most recent edition looks at representations of gender and pays special heed to the recent "growth in books that examine gender and patriarchy within minoritised communities". The selection of contemporary titles is short but the sweetest!
