Cryptid sighted

My beautiful new copy of Dan Sheehan's game "Who's A Good Boy? The game where dogs can sin". It's a pale yellow box with a drawing of 3 cartoon dogs. One elderly dog, maybe a greyhound, is walking with a walker. On one side of it is an angelic pug, with wings and halo. On the other side is a devilish dog with horns and pitchfork, stealing money from the middle dog's bag.

Feast your friggin eyes!

A flower of Callirhoe involucrata, a.k.a. wine cups / purple poppy mallow, from my garden. Bright magenta, poppy-like petals surrounding a center of white flower sex bits.

A flower of Coreopsis lanceolata, lance-leaf coreopsis. Golden yellow, toothed-edge petals around a similarly colored center. This first book is a little ragged looking, but ok. Several unopened buds of the same plant around it, and unfocused in the background, purple blooms of Baptisia australis.

Better view of the Baptisia australis, a.k.a. blue false indigo, with some unopened buds of Coreopsis lanceolata trying to block the view. The Baptisia flowers are a pale, bluish lavender color. Some thin-leaved sedges are visible at the bottom too.

A flower of Aquilegia canadensis, a.k.a. eastern red columbine. The blooms are bright red with yellow at the tips and inside, and the stem curls so the flowers point downward. It's a nutty flower shape, looking like four closed golf umbrellas glued together. There is a second bloom of the same flower unfocused in the background.

Lance-leaf coreopsis bud with fly friend

Coreopsis lanceolata bud. The bud itself is a shiny green, flattened ball on a veined stem. 8 green leaf-like sepals surround out, rising up vertically. The sepals are triangular, green with a bit of maroon at their tips, and have fine hairs along their edges. A tiny, cute fly (possibily a fruit fly?) sits on the outer edge.
