We found their owner! There’s a local lost & found pet site and posting their picture resulted in finding the owner in about 5 minutes! They were happily reunited. Forgot to give him the pee pads!
We’ve been caring for a pair of Cane Corso puppies we found on the county road. The vet told us the breed. That answered a 3-year old mystery, what is Ollie? He could be their dad. He’s a mix of Lab and Cane Corso. Very surprised. I was not familiar with the breed. Ollie with our Aussie, Frankie
I did take a picture but unfortunately that was in the days before iPhones and it was too far to get a clear shot. When I moved in, they both woke up and moved. I did get him in a wicker chair on the front porch with his calico cat. He did like the kitties.
Here’s their close ups. They had to stand up for inspection by the rest of the family. We’re hoping that a space is available for them at the local no kill shelter. Right now they are piled up on my lap. Makes it hard to type!
Yesterday a pair of puppies on our county road started following us. They were either runaways or discarded. On our way home we picked them up. This morning I found this puppy sandwich.
Trump started an illegal war, and now he lost it. What a waste of our public resources. The US must claim the Trump estate as a legal penalty for his extra-constitutional activities while in office.

What I see here is an ordinary guy on his knees while a masked man dressed like a hunter takes aim at his head and another on his knees but the image is too blurry to make out if he has a weapon or what he’s doing. A third guy is on the other side of the shooter with what looks like a red spray can.
This is Ollie who also had a heartbreaking past but he’s been with us for about two years and over that time he’s learned kindness and safety. He takes anxiety medication but with gentle human and other canine companions, he’s come a long way. He loves to cuddle and wrestle with his best friend.
