Here is my Jane Yolen story. I grew up reading her books. Greyling is my favorite. My mom went to see her read at a local bookstore and had her inscribe a book to me when I was basically just born. Her inscription was prescient. May her memory be a blessing. 📚

Our state Department of Libraries just announced the passage of a new law (S.232). It went through five committees. Among other improvements, it establishes a Vermont Libraries Day on the third Monday in October (Ed Emberley's bday this year)and it's both a little thing and also a HUGE DEAL. 📚
