there's not a lot of grass here, just the dog park, the astroturf, and the hills of the extinct volcano

A martianesque sunset view from a dark, grassy hill overlooking the sandwastes. Some of the sand has been lovingly sculpted into stupa formations or conical mounds, for an unknown purpose. The houses in the valley below look tiny, almost fake. Uncanny? It's the Uncanny Valley? and begin to twinkle like Christmas luminaria. There are mountains in the distance.

A magical-looking pyramidal gem tetrahedron beside a patio grill. The object is stacked in discrete layers with garnet, citrine, carnelian, quartz, peridot, blue topaz, and amethyst from base to apex and includes a copper wire flower-of-life motif on the front face

His scales exhibit interesting Turing patterns resembling cellular automata gliders or lozenges or crescent moons. He has predominately turquoise limbs with muddled yellow and grey, while his torso is fluorescently yellow against a backdrop of brown-greys and white.
