#154: Gintama° The best season since season 1. The Shinigami, Shogun Assassination, and Farewell Shinsengumi arcs are some of the best writing in the entire series both for drama and comedy. I'm glad I finally decided to finish watching this season after putting it off for so long. #anisky 10/10

#147: Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk Revue Starlight for functioning alcoholics. I really enjoyed this. I especially appreciated how every episode is animated in a slightly different style. It's rare to get a yuri anime of this quality, so savor it like a fine wine. #anisky 8/10

#144: Dorohedoro - Season 1 Maybe the most "there's nothing else like this" anime that I've seen since Mob Psycho 100. The 3D animation feels janky at times, but otherwise I really enjoyed this. Now I really want some gyoza... #anisky 9/10

#143: Dune Messiah Managed to finish this before the movie! I enjoyed the much slower, methodical story of psychic political intrigue, but I do think I preferred the first book. In a way, this feels more like an extended epilogue to Dune than it's own story, but I don't think I mind it.

#142: Simoun A world where everyone is born a woman still manages to end up with a patriarchy. There's a lot going on here, and I'll probably need some time to fully digest it all. But I enjoyed this! It's definitely a little overwhelming, but it all comes together in the end. #anisky 7/10

#133: Our Love is Disgusting For a manga about possessiveness, loneliness and hidden fetishes, I really wasn't expecting this to have a happy ending. A lot of the problems are left unresolved, and the final chapter feels rushed, but I think it did a pretty good job for being so short #anisky 6/10

Didn't think I'd ever get to see Rush live again, but the R50 show was great! So happy I got the chance to see them live again.

Listened to the entire Rush discography in preparation for next week's concert, and decided to rank them all! I even listened to all of the live albums, some of which I'd never heard before.

#126: Superwomen in Love! Honey Trap and Rapid Rabbit I love the idea of "Kamen Rider, but yuri" and there's a lot of fun characters here, but the overall story never really grabbed me. But I can't say I had a bad time reading it. I just wish it was taken further. #anisky 7/10

#125: The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales I hope there's a sequel game to refine this one because I think basically every aspect of Elliot is "almost there, but not quite". But I'd definitely give Elliot another chance to iron out the kinks, because I think the core game is good. 7/10

#118: Ressha Sentai ToQger Hear me out, this is "Kingdom Hearts but the gummi ship is a train". This was my first sentai show, and I really enjoyed it! I just really want to know what's up with Ticket. Is he real? Is he a puppet? We'll never know.

#117: The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve I really liked TGAA 1, but this blows it out of the water. It's amazing seeing how every case in both games all become interconnected and form one giant narrative. Herlock Sholmes may also be my new favorite AA character after this one. 10/10

#113: Witch Hat Atelier An incredible adaptation of one of my favorite mangas, and beautiful anime in general. I really hope season 2 comes quickly because I already need more of this. Getting to introduce my girlfriend to WHA through the show was also a special treat for me. #anisky 10/10

I think I'm actually pretty happy with these results.

#112: Sono Bisque Doll - Season 2 A lot less horny than season 1, and a bit less romance focused. But I really love all of our new characters, and the increased production quality led to some really fun over the top scenes. I just need them to hurry up on season 3. #anisky 8/10

#108: Mega Man Battle Network 2 A massive improvement over 1, but still missing a lot of key things that I think make the rest of the series good. I'd probably like this one a lot more if I hadn't already played later games. Also that final dungeon is rough, I can't imagine doing it as a kid. 6/10

#107: Pokemon Legends: Z-A Some of the most fun I've had with Pokemon in a while. I loved the new battle system and all of the characters. For a Pokemon game, the story is really well-written too. I just really wish you could actually go inside of any of the buildings in the city. 8/10

Tbh I haven't seen many "old" anime. Most shows I've seen are from 2010 - present. I should probably watch more 80s-90s stuff...
