One of the best things I ever did was adopt this tripod kitty two years ago. I went to the shelter asking for a cat that was older and least likely to be adopted. We've been besties ever since. Check out the alt text for more details.

Talked to Willow about the state of this country. She is not amused. She survived being shot in her left front leg by some monster with a .22, resulting in it needing to be amputated, so she knows fear and pain. She wants everyone to be loved and accepted, the way she is in her forever home.
Went hiking in the Adirondacks yesterday. Started here. Walked through a forest, a wetland and a bog. Grateful to have spent a day in nature. Reminded that there are still good things in the world. There's still enchantment. Hoping this picture brings you some joy.
