This is my favorite library. My photo is slightly different and comes with a short tale I wrote for myself years ago called My Brain is the Library at Trinity College included in the alt text.

There is a two story arched grand hall receding in perspective to a dark door. On each side are two stories of perpendicular shelves filled with books.

The architecture is spectacular and a work of art. It is filled with knowledge but there is still space to breathe and grow. The wood is rich, dark, and honeyed with age however there is still young light coming from unseen places. It continues on to an end that is not clear but is warm and welcoming. Busts of scientists, artists, scholars, and thinkers line the floor. There should be women but it was built in the late 1700s so I will simply imagine a better world.

One look at a map of the Arctic Circle makes clear Russia's strategic interest in Greenland and how breaking up NATO would be an huge bonus. Wouldn't be surprised if there was some serious Russian Trump whispering going on. Trump is also likely unhappy with US exposure, only 30° of arc.

A genderless public restroom (photo and floor plan) at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas. There are individual toilet stalls, a private urinal area, ADA compliant rooms, and community sinks.

Autonomous taxis Waymo and Tesla are expanding their service areas in Austin as shown in the map below. Guess which is which. It was wink wink intentional. It is so stupid and juvenile. I would not be surprised if light fart smells were sprayed halfway thru every Tesla ride.

Not subject related, but use of the term "the masses" is a pet peeve. Gets my hackles up. As defense I present a thesaurus entry where most synonyms are derogatory. I always try to get a sense of the writer's intent bc the top entries are neutral, but find the connotation is usually dismissive.

I got a Maltese Cross this summer too, but it is a refridgerator magnet and I got it in Malta! What's the heat tolerance of your variety? If it's 100+yikes maybe I could plant some in my poor desicatted flower bed.
