It may have been overkill, but I took the datasheet of the Philips tube used in the Commodore 1084 monitor and used it to recalculate the angles of the CRT shader in Copperline. This is almost ready to be included in the next release. #Amiga
The web version Copperline #Amiga emulator now has touch keyboard support, both Amiga and native device. Enjoy! copperline.dev/try/
Copperline 0.14.0 is out. Your #Amiga can now read the real floppies on your desk (Greaseweazle/DrawBridge/SupercardPro), join your real LAN, and run Picasso II RTG on 24-bit machines. Plus a 1084 monitor bezel + CRT shaders. www.patreon.com/Copperline/p...
Remember green screen and B&W monitors? Well, there is an option for that now in copperline.dev/try/
I know I keep doing things nobody asked for. Here is another! Programmable shader support to mimic things like CRTs coming soon to Copperline. #Amiga
Did someone say #Amiga 1200 AGA? No? Well, I’ve added it to the web version of Copperline anyway 🙂 copperline.dev/try/
Copperline 0.13 will have #Amiga 4000 emulation working well enough to run m68k Debian Linux (a really old version of Debian at least).
The web version of Copperline has had a lot of feedback from @retro32.bsky.social. Huge number of features and fixes for it deployed. Have a play if you want an #Amiga in your browser! copperline.dev/try
I know what you are not asking, can the Copperline #Amiga emulator run in my mobile browser? Turns out the answer is “yes” anyway 🙂
Copperline #Amiga emulator 0.11.0 is out! New features since 0.9.0 include video and audio debugging, debug console and video underlay on the frame debugger. Nearly 300 commits, 23 new features and 59 bug fixes from 0.9.0 to 0.11.0, we have come a long way.
I'm going on a long weekend holiday, so Copperline 0.10.0 won't be released until after I'm back. But in the mean time, here is a new feature that has been added. #Amiga
Copperline #Amiga emulator 0.8.0 has been released, and this is one for those who prefer GUIs to command line. There is now a launcher that appears if you do not use command line options. copperline.dev
Preview of something I'm adding to the next version of Copperline.
Copperline #Amiga CDTV test. Configured to have 8MB Fast RAM and a 14MHz 68000 (just to test it still works with that config).
Now have TEK's Rampage fully working in my emulator (needs some frame centring). Also have Eon (with disk swap), State of the Art, Inside the Machine and Second Nature working perfectly. AGA support next... CC @tcurdt.bsky.social
I asked Codex to look over some code Claude Code wrote. This burn made me LOL! 😂
A week ago I showed you Doom on the @wolfssl.com wolfDemo board I designed. This weekend I have: * VU meter using the wolf bark bars * Audio (OPL2 music and SFX) * I2C gamepad support * Massively enhanced rendering engine (maxes out the video SPI when music is off)
Wherever there is a new computer, embedded or not, someone asks if you can run Doom on it. Last year I created the wolfSSL wolfDemo board. Today I managed to get Doom running on it. There is no sound, so the LEDs act like a VU meter for the sound effects. I haven’t wired up a controller yet either.
Designed something to fix the biggest flaw with my car. The cup holders are too big for my wife’s Pepsi Max bottles.
My JBC tower of power (I have two more JBC stations too, but they are off to the side).
This is what happens when I let my wife name my car. It is the voice control wake word too 😂
I’ve had a busy week… I’ve created something new. Hopefully I can talk about it soon.
Seeing them as a "cloud titan" reminds me of this meme.
