You cannot fix this overnight and we need more housing. There is no practical solution to the housing crisis that involves stopping suburban expansion cold turkey. On top of that, we are mitigating fuel usage more every day and dealing with water runoff is why the neighborhood looks like it does.
This thing about families asking people to move on planes is entirely the airline’s fault and it doesn’t seem like we talk about it enough. You shouldn’t be asked to move when you board a plane, I shouldn’t have to pay extrafor contiguous seating. This is cash grab, not customer service.
